Slotara gives you a booking page, a widget for your website and your own booking address to share. Your clients pick the service, the time and — if you run more than one location — the location. No app, no account, no marketplace in between.
Enquiries don't only arrive during office hours
Someone who lands on your website in the evening does not want to be called back the next morning. Without a booking flow all that's left is the contact form — and then the back and forth starts: a suggestion, a question, another suggestion.
With a booking page your clients decide for themselves, and only from the times that are genuinely free with you. Once the booking flow is complete, the appointment is in Slotara.
Three ways — one booking flow
Slotara does not force you onto a single surface. You get three, and behind all of them runs the same flow with the same rules.
The booking page
A page of your own for your business, with your booking address. Ideal if you don't have a website, or if you want to hand out the link directly — in your signature, in your voicemail message, on a notice.
The widget for your website
The same flow, embedded in your existing site. You copy an embed code, and the booking happens inside your layout. Your visitors never leave your website.
In your colours
You set the colours of the booking flow yourself — with presets to start from and a contrast check that warns you when a combination becomes hard to read.
No marketplace in between: Slotara provides the flow, your business stays the sender.
Two operating modes — chosen per work window
Not every business works the same way, and not every day works the same way. That is why the mode is not a setting for the whole business, but a property of the work window.
Structured
Slotara counts in buffer time before and after appointments and places them on a grid. For businesses that need time between two appointments: tidying up, writing notes, resetting the room.
Freestyle
No buffer calculation, tighter scheduling. For businesses where one appointment may follow directly on the next.
How the mode is determined
Slotara first takes whatever is set on the work window itself. If nothing is set there, the template the window was generated from applies. If that is missing too, the employee's default applies — and without any of those it stays on the structured mode.
What happens when two people book at the same time
Time passes between the moment an appointment is shown and the moment someone clicks „Book". In that time the same slot can be taken by somebody else — or by you in your own calendar.
That is why Slotara checks the chosen slot once more immediately before saving. If the time has been taken in the meantime, the second, colliding booking is not saved — instead of putting two appointments in the same place.
The second check uses the same rules as the display: booked appointments, breaks, blocked time and your buffer times. And it applies to every route into your system alike — booking page, widget and your own entries.
What happens right after the booking
Once the booking stands, Slotara sends the confirmation with a calendar file — and before the appointment the one reminder you have configured. If you require prepayment for a service, the flow goes through the payment first.

No. Your clients enter their contact details when booking — nothing more. There is no client account, no password and no app.
Yes. You copy an embed code and get the booking flow inside your own page. Alternatively you simply share the link to your booking page — both lead to the same flow.
In the structured mode Slotara counts in your buffer times before and after appointments. In Freestyle mode that buffer calculation is dropped and appointments sit closer together. You decide this per work window, not once for the whole business.
